About Tirupati Balaji

The Tirupati Balaji temple at Kurukshetra in Haryana is dedicated to Sri Venkateswara, the form of Bhagwan Vishnu worshipped at Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh. It is built of granite in the South Indian style, with a gopuram over its entrance.

This view is from the open courtyard, between the gopuram and the dhwajastambha that stands before the sanctum.

How to look around Tirupati Balaji

Drag the picture with a finger or the mouse to turn, or use the arrow keys. Pinch or scroll to zoom in on a detail, and choose Full screen to fill the display. The view is a whole sphere, so you can look straight up and down as well as all the way round. On a phone, “Move phone to look” turns the view as you turn the phone, and in a browser that supports VR an Enter VR button appears for a headset.

The darshan is free and runs in the browser, with nothing to install. The photographer and the licence are named under each picture.
