About Shore Temple
The Shore Temple stands on the edge of the Bay of Bengal at Mahabalipuram. It was built in the early 8th century under the Pallava king Narasimhavarman II and is one of the oldest structural stone temples of South India.
The complex holds shrines to both Shiv and Vishnu. It is part of the Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A virtual darshan is a way to see and remember the temple, not a substitute for the yatra or for worship there. AaradhyaHub is not affiliated with the temple or its committee. For a pooja performed with full vidhi, book a verified pandit.
