About Mahalasa Narayani
The Shri Mahalasa Narayani temple stands at Mardol in the Ponda taluka of Goa. The goddess Mahalasa is worshipped here as a form of Mohini, the feminine avatar of Bhagwan Vishnu.
The temple is known for its tall brass lamp pillar, which is lit on festival nights. This view is from the temple courtyard.
