What is Pitru Paksha?
Pitru Paksha — also called Shraddh or Sharad Paksh — is the dark fortnight of Ashwin, set aside for our ancestors. Families offer water, food and prayer to those who have passed, and remember them by name.
Here you can remember someone you have lost, offer each seva to them symbolically, and make a Shraddhanjali card for your family. These digital offerings are an act of remembrance; they do not replace the shraddha itself. When you are ready to have it performed properly, a pandit can do it with you, at home or online.

Perform the shraddha on the tithi on which your loved one passed. If you do not know it, Sarva Pitru Amavasya is for every ancestor.
